Audubon Cottages

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even kept our luggage for a while after checkout so we could manage our evening flight. My wife and I came with another couple, and we all stayed in a clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed two-bedroom cottage, Cottage 2. It was very relaxing, and the shared sitting area by the pool, where breakfast can be served, was lovely. It’s a peaceful little oasis, with a location that makes it easy to walk around the Quarter and reach the Garden District, Frenchmen Street, and other N.O. attractions. Nothing but good things to say about Audubon Cottages. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we come back to New Orleans.

The cottages’ history really struck us. We were amazed to learn they had once been Audubon’s studios and homes, and spent much of our stay appreciating the space and taking in the city’s rich past. Everything in the French Quarters was within walking distance. If you can catch Mr.Jeffrey, ask him where to eat. I’ve never met anyone more passionate about New Orleans kitchens. Mr.Shaun helped us with the room and whatever else we needed. This was one of our New Orleans highlights, and I hope we can stay here again.

Shaun was amazing and made sure we had an enjoyable stay. The cottage was so comfortable it felt like home, and we loved the atmosphere and vibe. The courtyard was beautiful.

The pool was a hit with our children, especially since it was heated. The hotel’s charm and atmosphere made it feel like home, and I can’t imagine choosing anywhere else next time we visit New Orleans. This place gives you both a peaceful, tucked-away feel and an easy spot right in the French Quarter. We were just steps from all the excitement, but it still felt secluded and calm. Its rich history and unique character made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend.
