Chateau Orleans

The bed was the one real letdown. It should’ve been replaced ages ago, and we bought a 3-inch mattress topper so we could sleep for the week. Yes, we took it home, and yes, we told management. Beyond that, we’d love to return. It’s a beautiful historic hotel and timeshare with a secure inner courtyard, small but nice pool area, and daily coffee. The people who live and manage the place are nice. The location is hard to beat: two blocks from Bourbon, quiet enough to avoid the noise but central for walking to most places and the trolleys.

We had a fantastic time at the "Chateau Hotel ". Elaine was super welcoming and kind, and our room was really clean. The pool was a great bonus when we wanted to relax and hang out. What we liked most was the location. We never needed an Uber because we could walk everywhere.

We had a really good time and will definitely come back. The location was perfect, with Bourbon Street just minutes away and everything within walking distance. The guy at the front desk was polite and welcoming, and the two-bedroom unit was convenient, clean, and nicely decorated in a quaint New Orleans style. It had a stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator, which came in handy. My only complaint was that the place smelled a bit old. Otherwise, it was not bad at all.

Paul was really nice and had helpful recommendations. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony and view that felt quintessentially New Orleanian. The location is central to everything, and there’s honestly nothing bad I can say. Great for a short or long stay. Just know there’s no lift, so you need to carry your own luggage up a few flights of stairs. That didn’t bother us, but it could be an issue if you pack heavy or have mobility concerns.
