Comfort Suites New Orleans

The staff were all really nice and helpful, and having guest laundry was useful. The room could’ve been cleaner, especially the bathroom, where one light was out and another kept flashing like something from a haunted house. The area around the hotel felt a bit sketchy too, and I wouldn’t want to walk around outside at night.

We came twice in March, once for my birthday and once just because, and we always stay here when we visit New Orleans. The two people at the night receptions are so cheerful and informative. They helped me with ideas for food and things to do in the French Quarter, and made me feel welcome and at home. I look forward to seeing them again. I’m sorry I can’t remember their names, but you’ll know them when you meet them.

We stayed March 23 to 27, 2026, and would come back to this hotel on another NOLA trip. Mz. Wanda is a morning buzz, setting up breakfast and keeping things running, and the rest of the staff were great too. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, and the pool looked clean and nice, though it wasn’t open during our visit. One of the owners chatted with us and seemed like a nice guy. He mentioned they’re updating the rooms and said they have their own tent, bathroom, and space for Mardi Gras parades. The location right off Interstate 10 is convenient for NOLA, the North Shore, plantations, and the Mississippi coastline. I chose it after reading positive Google reviews and ratings compared with other Choice Brand Hotels in the area, including the many kind comments about Mz. Wanda. We told her and the owner we’d stay here again. It’s a friendly place where people take care of you, and I’d recommend it. Say hi to Mz. Wanda if you stay.

Everyone on staff made us smile, even the overnight security person, and the rooms were clean. We were passing through with our family to visit NOLA, and the welcome from the staff made the stay great. If we make it back, we know we’ll feel welcome here again.
