The staff made every interaction feel warm and caring, like we were welcome and valued. Kenosha JJ at the front desk, Mr. Nolan, and Auntie Khiya each deserve a special thank you. Auntie Khiya treated us like family, and Mr. Nolan looked out for us. From the food and rooms to all the little details, everything was outstanding. The service went beyond even the warmest Southern hospitality I've experienced. One of the best hotel stays I've had, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The Carousel Bar is a New Orleans icon, and it lived up to the reputation, with great drinks and an atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. Dinner was just as impressive, both satisfying and well prepared. I was here on business, and the hotel made the whole stay feel smooth from arrival onward. The doormen were attentive, professional, and welcoming, and the front-of-house team kept that same standard throughout. Russell was a standout each morning, with a warm, steady presence and a real eye for detail. His helpfulness is what makes a good hotel memorable.

The room was spacious and nice, and although the hotel is older, the service made this the best place I've ever stayed. I rarely leave five-star reviews, but this one earned it. When I arrived around 9 or 10, I expected to wait hours to check in. Instead, the receptionist found me a room right away and walked me through the hotel. From getting out of the Lyft, I didn't have to carry a bag. The concierge brought me to the desk and explained what I needed to the receptionist. Checkout was just as easy, and I still didn't have to touch my luggage. Highly recommend.

The staff were what made the place exceptional. I was here for a work meeting, and they helped with every part of my stay, always accommodating and attentive to what I needed. The rooms were nice and a reasonable size, but it was the people who stood out. The upscale hotel sits on quieter Royal Street in the heart of the French Quarter, with a real old-world luxury feel. I was also on the ninth floor and had a nice river view. If it fits your budget, book here.
