Hyatt House New Orleans/Downtown

The room was cleaned every day and the linens were changed, and the room service was excellent. Staff were friendly and cooperative, too. There are several large dining and conference halls, plus an outdoor pool. We were offered valet parking for $31/day during our three-day stay, which seemed more economical than nearby buildings or lots. The area itself was crowded and had a lot of traffic, but we had a nice stay and liked the amenities.

I stayed four nights over five days and felt comfortable being on my own in a new city. The hotel was clean, family friendly, and the staff were very professional. It was convenient for exploring the city, and I even made the trip to Mississippi, about an hour away. I’d stay here again and recommend it, especially to families with children.

The gym is one of the best I’ve seen, and the views are fantastic. The place is great for photos, too. The older Black gentleman greeting people by the elevators was incredibly genuine and kind. He went out of his way to help me, in a wheelchair at the time, and my whole family, including my child, get into the elevators several times. The restaurant service at the breakfast buffet was the BEST, five stars, and the buffet itself is the best I’ve ever had, even though it’s expensive. The location is great and felt safe. Valet was overwhelmed and understaffed, and the front desk had a similar feel and explained very little. Still, this wasn’t our first visit and it won’t be our last. Carlos made traveling with our two-year-old so much easier. With a stroller and what felt like endless bags, we appreciated how he helped with every Uber ride, loading and unloading everything without hesitation. He was patient, kind, and always had a smile. The service throughout our stay was incredible, and everyone helped us feel comfortable and relaxed from beginning to end. We’re grateful for Carlos’s care and would absolutely return after such a lovely trip.
