Lafitte Hotel & Bar

We had a balcony overlooking Bourbon street from the upper apartment across from the hotel, which made it easy to put the kids to bed on the sofa bed and enjoy a drink while watching the nightlife. The location right on Bourbon Street was amazing, close to everything, though it was NOISY pretty much all the time. Our unit had a jacuzzi tub, but we didn't use it. Our family really enjoyed the lobby piano bar, and it's kid friendly. Kristen the pianist is amazing. We'd stay here again.

The location in the French quarter, right on bourbon, was amazing. We could walk to riverside easily. Brennan was a huge help at check-in and checkout. The room, though, was very small for an expensive price. The reservation site said double bed, but there was only one bed. We could see a balcony but couldn't go out on it. There was also trash from the previous stay under the bed. We couldn't get the TV working because it wasn't connected to the internet, and the password they gave us didn't work. Finding someone at the front desk during the stay was hard, and when we asked for extra trash bags, the person refused and didn't reply. Parking wasn't mentioned clearly when I booked, apart from saying they had parking. It turned out to be no in or out, and they ask for the key. Brennan let us leave because we were lucky enough to be at the end, and we made it to our event. I just wish the room had been bigger and the internet worked.

The staff were kind and available around the clock, and the hotel was close to everything we needed. We also enjoyed the bar downstairs. Our room was lovely and clean, with a balcony view that made it easy to relax. I really enjoyed the stay and would gladly come back or recommend it.

Great location, a fun bar, and friendly staff. We loved this family-owned and run hotel and will be back.
