We were here for JazzFest and had an amazing week. The resort was perfectly maintained, and the staff and customer service were incredible. Adam, the resort’s shuttle manager, was accommodating, kind, and personable. He took a genuine interest in his guests and went far beyond what we expected. We didn’t have to worry about traffic or parking. I highly recommend this RV resort without hesitation.

The restaurant and bar were a convenient, low-key evening option, with reasonably priced food and drinks and no dishes for us to wash. The restaurant sits above the office, laundry, and showers, and has a great view of the docks and the standard park model units, along with unusual rental units cleverly made from cargo containers. Watch for the wings coming off the smoker, they’re most excellent plain or with one of several dipping sauces. And keep an eye on the Hurricanes and Bahama Mamas. Our group also used the conference room area, which has a couple of pool tables, a foosball table, a basketball game, and a big-screen TV. We had fun trying to get the taciturn bartender to smile and maybe laugh. It took some work, but we got ‘er done! The park is away from downtown, right on the edge of Lake Pontchartrain, but an easy drive from the main part of the city. The sites are well placed and easy to get in and out of, with plenty of back-in and pull-through options. The personable, helpful staff even guide you to your site. A great place to stay when visiting NOLA.

It was quiet even though we were only five miles from the French Quarter, and the price was reasonable. The sites were nice, though at ours the plants on both sides were right up against the slide-outs and could use trimming. There’s a small pool that isn’t heated, with a distinctive waterfall feature. I’d be happy to come back when I’m in the Crescent City.

We’ve stayed at New Orleans RV Resort and Marina twice in two years and plan to return. It’s peaceful and well kept, and downtown is an easy drive away. There’s a good restaurant on the property; last time we went for happy hour every day, but on this visit it was open only on our first night. I wish it stayed open more evenings. Thanks for a lovely five-night stay.

Adam from Customer Transport was especially kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. The park itself was clean, quiet, and had roomy sites, with security and a 9:00 lockup. I loved staying here. It’s the best park I’ve been to, and I enjoyed every bit of it.
