It's a cute, quiet place with a beautiful atmosphere and great vibes. The building is 182 years old and used to be a brothel, so it's a great fit for history lovers and ghost hunters. You can walk about 20 minutes to just about anywhere.

The house has been updated while keeping its historic character, and the other guests have always been respectful when I've stayed. I love coming back to this scenic, relaxed neighborhood, full of important history. It's conveniently located, too. There's a bus stop and a streetcar stop nearby, so you can get around the whole city if you take time to learn the routes. This is always my home away from home when I come to NOLA.

A lovely little hotel in New Orleans, with a room that was a good size and had everything we needed. Downtown was an easy walk away, while the hotel itself was far enough from it to stay quiet. Great value for the money. I'd stay here again.

Our guesthouse suite was spacious, with cathedral style ceilings, an original stone fireplace, a dining area, a full kitchen, two bedrooms, and a large bathroom with a washer and dryer. Outside, the hotel has a garden lounge with a working fountain, lemon trees, and flowers. The beautifully restored and preserved mansion sits on Esplanades Avenue, home to many of the city's first mansions. It made us feel welcome and like we'd stepped back in time. We'll definitely stay again.

Room 15 was really cute, with French doors opening onto the shared balcony, and high ceilings. The air conditioning was very cool. Check-in was easy, and the host communicated pretty well by email. I'd stay here again when I'm in town. I was here in July, and it was super hot. We walked a mile to the French Quarter, which was kind of fun. I love this place, though the humidity smell is the one thing I don't like. I guess that's a problem everywhere in town.
