Josh was such a standout, warm, welcoming, and so accommodating. The rest of the team had that same genuine energy, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The Maidstone NOLA is tucked just off a busy street, but feels like a little city oasis. It's a charming, beautifully converted boutique-style motel with a relaxed atmosphere and thoughtful details. I'll be back next time I'm in New Orleans.

We loved winding down by the pool and bar and starting our mornings somewhere calm. The Maidstone had the spa-like retreat we wanted while visiting NOLA. Service was great, everything felt clean and brand new, and the atmosphere was fun but peaceful. The pool, lounge, and bar were nice, the staff warm and helpful, and the price was great. It's not the best location if you want to walk to tourist spots, but it worked for us since we didn't mind taking an Uber. You'd likely use one anyway to get between different parts of NOLA. We flew in and took an Uber, so the lack of parking didn't matter. I'd take this relaxing hotel with a pool and room to unwind over a noisy, rough tourist area. The Maidstone is a little Oasis in a somewhat funny area. There's a Trader Joe's down the street, and the beautifully redone motel makes you forget about the location as soon as you're on the property. It would be a good staycation too.

For under $100 a night, we had a pool, bar, and room to come back to between outings and feed our pets. This place is perfect for a staycation, and I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND it! The pool, bar, and gathering area are gorgeous, and the rooms are fresh and recently renovated. Everyone was so accommodating. I asked at the bar about a guava juice cocktail they didn't have. Less than an hour later, the front desk guy found me by the pool to say he'd heard about it and gone to TJ's for guava juice so I could have my Miami cocktail! It's a beautiful oasis right on a major avenue in an up and coming neighborhood, with a brand new Trader Joe's down the street and amazing dining spots that haven't been discovered yet. What a wonderful and wild experience.

The hotel design feels like a surprising pocket of calm in a busy city. I didn't expect it to be so relaxing and uplifting.

A fantastic place that went above and beyond.
