New Prague Inn & Suites

It was frustrating dealing with this business, and the male owner was the worst part. Whenever I tried to explain the situation, he talked over me and went on about how guests had to call the direct line and give our names. They had done both. We called several times because he was apparently the only person who knew about the room block or could book rooms under it. My wife and I rented an Airbnb for our wedding, thankfully, but all our guests stayed here. The hotel let us reserve a block of rooms, then when guests tried to book, they were told different things: that no block existed, that it was full, or that staff didn’t know what they meant. He told me only one room had been booked, even though my mom had called four hours earlier and was told everything was booked. The younger workers seemed unsure, and his wife was very rude to my family, including my parents. It’s a shame this is the only hotel in the area. If there were another option, I’m sure they’d be out of business.

We came for a family reunion, and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Our room was filthy and smelled awful. I asked the front desk for cleaning supplies and got a vacuum and Clorox wipes. I tried to clean, but the carpet was so caked with dirt that the vacuum couldn’t get it out. In the middle of the night, my husband and I became nauseous and got headaches from the smell. We worried it might harm our children, so I spoke with the manager. He offered another room, and we moved in the middle of the night. That room was dirty too, though it didn’t smell nearly as bad. The next morning, my husband found toenails in the sheets. We cut our trip short so we wouldn’t have to spend another night there. I never write reviews, and this is my first.

After a full day at work, the jacuzzi was such a blessing. The room was clean, and both beds were comfortable. I’ll be back again and again!

The staff were friendly, courteous, and knew the area well. We found the hotel easy to get to, and it was very clean. Our room was fantastic, with restaurants and good food just a short walk away. There’s even a hardware store nearby if you need one. We’ll definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
