Archer Hotel New York

The rooftop bar is really nice, with great views and good drinks. I love this hotel. The rooms are modern and clean, with lovely views of the Empire State Building. The staff have been friendly every time I've stayed, and I'd definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful Christmas here and I'd happily return. The hotel is charming and reasonably priced, and the thoughtful little amenities made our stay feel special. It's also close to everything NYC has to offer. Every staff member was kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with exceptional customer service throughout.

Our room, 2106, had an exceptional view of ESB. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping and a sweet treat each day. After exploring the city, the skybar was a nice place to wind down. The staff accommodated my request for a top-floor room when I booked. The location made it easy to enjoy NYC: close to the Subway by Bryant Park and central, yet far enough from Times Square to get away from the bustle. We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Out of the 237 hotels I've stayed in over roughly the last 10 years, this is one of the best. The rooms are small, so I wouldn't bring children, but it's a great fit for a solo traveler or a couple. For a romantic getaway or a business trip, you're close to everything without being in the middle of it. I also didn't hear the usual sirens and city noise I have elsewhere. It felt like a breath of fresh air and an old-school, high-end New York hotel experience. The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice, and the entrance is thoughtfully laid out. The staff are what really set it apart. Everyone, including the cleaning crew, knows how to make guests feel well cared for. The bellmen were incredibly helpful when we needed to move lots of boxes from our room. When I asked housekeeping for a coffee pod, they brought one and replaced the cups too, though I hadn't asked. The front desk team were kind and pleasant throughout. A really pleasant stay.
