Concorde Hotel New York

The location was fantastic, within walking distance of Times Square, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, the largest Macy’s, and more. We had a spacious king bedroom with a huge, very comfortable bed and mattress, plus a large bathroom with a bath, shower, and great water pressure. The hotel has one of the rare really good gyms, open 24/7. We didn’t have breakfast included, but tried it on our departure day and it was very good. One of the best avocado toasts I’ve had, and the espresso was good too. Staff were knowledgeable and professional throughout. NYC hotels, even four or five-star ones, can be hit or miss, but this one wasn’t. I’ll definitely be back.

My room, 3501, was beautiful, quiet, spotless, and everything worked. The view was spectacular, and the large bed had a great mattress. The place has a different feel, almost like a European boutique hotel. I was told it used to belong to British Airways, and the current owners have kept its elegance. I laughed at the review calling the elevators small. We fit seven people in one, which didn’t seem “European small” to me. The staff were excellent, clearly well hired and trained. Sandy and the other receptionists were so helpful, and Syed ran down the street and around the corner to find me a cab. The maintenance man in the elevator was welcoming, as were all the housekeepers I met. It isn’t cheap, but I thought it was worth every penny.

The room was simple in its decor, but that worked just fine. It was perfectly clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The coffee machine, lounge, and business corner on the third floor added a lot to the stay. The hotel is a great NYC option, just a few minutes’ walk from iconic avenues, shops, and landmarks. Definitely recommended!

We had a quiet, comfortable room, and the bathroom was a nice size. The hotel’s location is great, and the rooms are set up to keep street noise out. What kept me from sleeping was the sound of neighbors’ doors slamming. I had my white noise machine on full volume and it still didn’t help. Without that, the stay would’ve been perfect.
