My mom had a wonderful birthday stay here. The manager upgraded our room, which was on the 27th floor with a view over the Chrysler building and the city skyline lit up at night. We spent the day seeing the city's cultural side through Art at the MoMA, then found a delicious Italian restaurant not far from the hotel. The midtown location is great, and the hotel is clean and modern. The coffee bar and bar both have a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly, accommodating, and knew the area well. I appreciate IHG and the EVEN Hotel for the professionalism and hospitality throughout our visit. The hard-working people here are part of what makes this city feel remarkable and timeless. I'll keep the hotel in mind on future trips to New York. Thank you.

Right by Grand Central Midtown, this hotel is in a perfect location, and I'd definitely return. Reception staff were friendly and check-in was easy. The room had what I needed: a large bed, city view, coffee machine, and TV. It was quiet once I was in the room, though the plugs were a bit intermittent. The room was mostly tidy, but the bathroom could have used a more thorough clean. The air-conditioning seemed to be on the blink and was noisy. The room size was fine for one person, but two people might find it tight after a few days. There were coffee pods but no water, which felt like an oversight.

We came for my cousin's 15th birthday, and they upgraded our room for a nice view and gave us late checkout at no charge. The location was good, close to subway stations but away from the hustle and bustle. Our room was very clean, the shower was hot with great pressure, and the front desk staff and bartender were so nice and accommodating.

I first posted about a different experience, but this edit is about the EVEN Hotel. It's a hidden gem, tucked away in a great area with everything you need nearby. We flew in and took the tram from JFK to Grand Central station, then walked three minutes to the hotel. You wouldn't guess from looking down the road how nice it is inside. The rooms are a good size and have unusual extras. Ours had yoga mats, bands, and yoga blocks. For the location and amenities, the price was great. Happy hour at the bar is among the best priced in the area, and the bartender is very friendly and knows local places to eat and things to do. After a long day wandering around Manhattan, it's a nice place to come back to. 10 out of 10, I'd recommend it.

We got to our room early and were able to leave our bags for a few hours before check-in. The location is really convenient for tourists and travelers, and the room was clean and functional. The big problem was noise: there was little to no soundproofing between the room and hallway, so staff and other guests were clearly audible at all hours. It made sleeping difficult.
