The flower district is right outside, with a street full of fresh flowers every day. Rooms are small but clean, and the staff were great. Darren at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

The stay itself was fine, but the billing caused a lot of stress. During our three nights, my cards were charged incorrectly several times, leaving over $1,500 temporarily taken for a stay we'd already paid for. The money eventually came back, but only after several stressful days of emails, calls and follow-ups. What bothered me most was the lack of urgency or communication. The manager never answered my emails, even though the issue was serious. As an international traveler, suddenly not having access to my money during a trip was a needless worry. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. I hope the hotel improves its billing process and customer support for future guests.

The room and stay were nice for my business trip, but leaving was a nightmare. I spent over $200, then had things falling out of my bag in the lobby. The employee seemed so eager to get me out that I was still stuffing clothes into my bag to close it while he stood there harassing me and making me feel like a criminal. I was treated like a loiterer. I won't be back.

The location was good and the room size quite decent, but I wouldn't choose this hotel again. On 1 January our room wasn't cleaned. When we called the front desk, they said housekeeping had already left for the day and it was too late to arrange cleaning. That was disappointing with the high-season rates we were paying and the expectations that come with a Marriott-branded property. Check-in was frustrating too. We arrived at around 1:00 PM and were told to come back at the official 3:00 PM check-in time. Even then we had to wait again, and didn't get a room until after 3:30 PM. Reception staff weren't particularly helpful or communicative, which made the wait worse after a long journey. There are better choices nearby.
