The apartment was a cramped mess, and it wasn’t even my choice of place. We were five people, but there wasn’t enough room, and the space was packed in a way that only made it look like we’d fit comfortably. The bed was broken, door handles kept coming off, and getting in and out safely was difficult. The host barely communicated with us during our New York trip. I wouldn’t stay there again. It wasn’t worth the money.

Valerie yelled at my husband over some water on the bathroom floor just after we’d used it. We were only hoping for a quiet holiday, but even while we were packing to leave, the old housekeeper started giving me unwanted advice about looking after my husband. He and I were both shocked, lol. How have vacation rentals turned into such a bad experience? Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.
