The bed was super comfortable, and the rainfall shower felt excellent. I liked the room’s design too. It’s cute and minimalistic, though it has no closet or fridge, so I’d say it’s fine for a night or two. The receptionists weren’t attentive or friendly, so don’t expect much service. It’s a nice room to enjoy if that’s what you’re after. The room was advertised as soundproof, but hallway noise came through the door. I think housekeeping made most of it, and I woke up when the door opened and closed. It doesn’t slow down as it closes, so it can slam loudly. That may not matter if you leave early. Slippers were advertised, too, but there weren’t any. I booked through Expedia, and the resort fee I was charged didn’t match the amount in the reservation confirmation email. I asked about it, but they stopped replying, maybe because the difference was small. The amount wasn’t what mattered to me, it was the honesty and accuracy. If Expedia or reception made a mistake, they could have confirmed it and corrected the amount if needed.

The staff made my friend’s birthday feel special, with everyone smiling warmly and going above and beyond. The rooms were NY cozy, and the beds were comfortable, with the best pillows for sleeping. It was a perfect overnight stop for a birthday weekend. Thanks for making the day extraordinary!

The free coffee for guests, available without limit, was a big plus. It’s so good that locals and other non-guests line up at the coffee shop at 7 a.m. for it. The coffee shop ladies and the rest of the staff were remarkably efficient and kind. I’ve never had better hotel service. The two desk guys, Alex and Damien, were very busy but still gave over-the-top service with real graciousness and friendliness.

The rooftop bar had a great feel, and I really liked the lobby cafe too. My room was clean and felt spacious, especially with the balcony. The decor was lovely, and the hotel is in a great part of NYC. Such a cozy, cute place. I had no complaints and would happily stay again.

Our teens had a great setup on a lower floor, while we had a room with a gorgeous private balcony. The rooms felt modern, chic, and comfortable, and downstairs had a lively bar and coffee shop. We also enjoyed the rooftop patio and the restaurant. Lucas and the desk team were wonderful, Ama looked after us with coffee and treats at Paper, and the complimentary hot chocolates were a hit with the teens. I especially liked the coffee served later in the day. Bredie from housekeeping checked in every day and was lovely to see. For our first Christmas trip to NYC, traveling from TN with our teenagers, Made Hotel was a perfect home base. The location was the big thing for us: close enough to walk to Times Square, Macy’s, shopping, and restaurants, but not right in the middle of the crowds. Penn Station and the 28th subway entrances were an easy walk, which made it simple to get to the Brooklyn Bridge, ChinaTown, Little Italy, Central Park, The MET, the Statue of Liberty, and more. We managed to do it all. The stay gave us the New York experience with comfort and ease, and we’ll choose Made Hotel again when we come back.
