Ibis Styles New York Laguardia Airport

The room was larger than I expected, very modern, and exceptionally clean. It looked as if the bathroom hadn’t been used. The staff were friendly and cheerful. I had a burger and fries, both very good. You order food at the bar and there are tables to sit at, and the bartender was polite and friendly, A-1. Breakfast was continental. There was only one drawer and a clothing rack, so storage would be limited if more than one person stayed longer than a day. The hotel is right by the airport, about three minutes away on their shuttle, though there isn’t much of a neighborhood within walking distance. I’d definitely stay again.

Everybody was polite and friendly, and I loved our stay. Breakfast was good, and the airport shuttle runs both ways. They also have shuttles at 9am, 10am, and 11am to the nearby subway station, which was great. My only complaint is the bathroom layout. There’s a sliding door for the toilet and shower, but not much privacy for changing after a shower. I’d recommend it for couples or anyone comfortable sharing a room.

The room was clean and roomy, with a nice view of LGA, and the complimentary breakfast was good. It was also easy to get an Uber, though there isn't much nearby to visit besides the airport, so you'll need transportation to go anywhere. They do have an airport shuttle. The bar downstairs was a highlight, with great food and really nice servers and bartenders. I’d likely come back. The rooms could use coffee, ice, a fridge, and a few other basics. Apart from the TV, there aren't extras.

The hotel felt safe and was bright, clean, colorful, and new. Our room was fairly spacious and quiet despite being close to the airport, but that bed was rock hard. We slept on our jackets trying to get comfortable, and the room had very few amenities, just a wall soap dispenser, no washcloths, and not even pen and paper. The shuttle felt unpredictable and a little scary after a couple of rough rides, so we switched to Uber. We booked a last-minute weekend during a very popular, expensive weekend and found a somewhat reasonable rate despite mixed reviews. It was just okay, but I wouldn't stay again because of the bed.
