Nova Hotel JFK

I’ve stayed here many times, and the quality has been consistent. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and I’ve had some of my best nights of sleep near JFK here. The hotel is spotless and very quiet, and the en-suite-style bathrooms are beautiful, unlike others I’ve seen in the area. The deluxe suites are great and worth the price. Thanks to Smit for making check-in easy and helping us with everything we needed. He was awesome. As an experienced traveler, I was really impressed by The Nova JFK Hotel. You won’t regret choosing this place.

A week later, I was still trying to reach the manager about a refund for the five days I booked. I didn’t stay there. I checked out immediately, but my attempts to follow up by phone kept getting nowhere, with staff saying the manager was unavailable. When I asked for a refund that day, I was told only a manager could issue one. I booked Tuesday through Friday expecting the standards shown on the website, especially since the hotel is advertised as fairly new. Instead, the whole place reeked of weed. The sheets had brown stains, there were visible holes in the floor, and the sink by the door was in terrible shape. The room looked nothing like the appealing, pristine photos online, so I cut my stay short and requested my money back. The situation caused a lot of inconvenience and disappointment.

The room was plain, as I expected, but there were stains on the couch and bed, and it looked like the cleaning had been rushed. At least it smelled nice, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. It was noisy, though. The receptionist was kind, and we had to wait a little while before getting a room.

The location was convenient, with everything I needed close by. My room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the staff were welcoming throughout. They also worked around my needs and found alternatives when I ran into issues. It was a relaxing, enjoyable visit, and I’d definitely stay again.
