After my stay, USD 236.62 and USD 47.60 were charged or held on my card unexpectedly. I still haven’t received a detailed explanation for either amount. My USD 150 security deposit also hasn’t been released, so USD 434.22 in total has remained unavailable in my account. I asked the front desk about the charges before checkout and was simply told to wait 3-5 days. They gave me no clear explanation, no final folio or receipt, and no apology for the inconvenience. I also tried the email address management had provided in responses to other reviews, but got a notice that it didn’t exist, leaving me with no way to contact the hotel about the issue. I understand that security deposits and authorization holds can happen. Still, these unexplained amounts and the lack of communication or response have made this a very disappointing stay. If management sees this, please provide a valid email or other contact so I can discuss the unresolved charges. I hope they’ll finally explain them and resolve the issue.

The rooms were nice and the location is very convenient, close to transit. The neighborhood is working-class and can look a bit rough, which may make some people uncomfortable, though it’s generally safe and has become much safer since I was younger. If you can put up with awful service, this could work for a nice room near transit. But I’d have wanted to know that staff enter rooms every day and take down the “do not disturb” signs before guests wake up. Check-in took 10-15 minutes even though I was the only person at the desk. The hotel was badly understaffed, with one person handling check-ins and calls, and they kept prioritizing the phone over people waiting in person. Each night, my “do not disturb” sign disappeared from the door overnight, then reappeared by the time I returned the next evening. It also happened to rooms used by others in my travel party, and some felt unsafe. I found it sketchy too. When one of them asked the front desk, staff denied that it happened. They didn’t tell us at checkout that rooms would be entered each day. On checkout day, someone banged on my door at 11:05 AM even though my late checkout had been approved, and seemed annoyed that I wouldn’t leave until later. The rooms and convenient location were the only good things I can say about the hotel; service left a lot to be desired.

Jeremia at the front desk made the stay for me. He was so nice, a total sweetheart, super cute and handsome, and had a great personality. His positive energy and friendliness were amazing. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and really nice. The area was okay, though it can feel a little sketchy at night. I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and check-in went smoothly. We had a relaxing, pleasant stay and would definitely return. Jeremih was wonderful throughout, friendly, professional, and quick to help with anything we needed. He made us feel welcome.
