NH Collection New York Madison Avenue

We always have a great stay at NH Collection. The rooms are spotless, the hotel is beautiful, and the bar and restaurant are fantastic. Breakfast from the buffet is amazing. It’ll always be our go-to when we visit New York. Everyone is friendly, kind, respectful, and glad to help, from the welcome at the door through smooth check-in. Some staff even remembered us from two years ago, when we got engaged during our stay, and went out of their way to make this visit memorable too. Huge thanks to all of them for making our stay unforgettable again.

Hard to beat the location, close to Grand Central and everything in Midtown. The room was modern, super clean, and surprisingly quiet for NYC, and the staff were very welcoming. Easily one of the best hotels. A stylish, convenient home base in the city.

Grand Central Terminal is close, and across the street there’s a little market in case you need anything. The lobby had lovely Christmas decorations and lots of places to sit while waiting for people or rides. Staff were very nice, but there were problems with room service. It goes through the neighboring restaurant, so once it closes, you’re out of luck. The hotel app said we could order light snacks and drinks from the bar. I ordered chocolate almonds and a drink, then called after a while to check and was told the bartender couldn’t make the order. I wish they’d notified me instead of telling me to get dressed and collect my room service at the bar. That’s the point of room service. After a long NYC day, in my pajamas, I didn’t want to head out just to satisfy a craving. The elevators were super skinny, and the room was very small, though cozy, with a few good views. I would’ve liked two chairs for the one table.

We stayed at NH Collection New York Madison Avenue during Christmas week and had a great visit. It’s in Midtown East, about four blocks south and one block west of Grand Central Terminal, which made getting around easy, especially during the holidays. Both of our rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the hotel was spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. This is where I’ll stay next time I visit New York, absolutely our first choice.
