Oakwood Residence Midtown East

We stayed for two months, and the place was very comfortable for two, especially by NYC standards. Everything worked as it should, so we didn’t run into any inconveniences. The location is quiet and accessible, though that corner of the street gets noisy during the day because drivers honk a lot. Everyone at the front desk was kind, and Axel was especially helpful when we needed something.

I spent nearly three months at Oakwood Residence and was impressed by the service from Axel and his team. They were always available whenever I needed help, and the reception staff were personable and great as well. I’d recommend the property for a short visit or a longer stay in New York.

I was in NYC for an ongoing medical issue and had never tried an Air B&B, so I was unsure about staying anywhere but a hotel. Hotels were too expensive for me, so I gave Oakwood a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The apartment had much more room than a hotel, laundry in the unit, and great restaurants nearby. The location was convenient, and the concierge was efficient while management were responsive and polite. I’d use Oakwood again if I return to NYC. Thanks.

The room was a good size, and having a large washer and dryer was a real plus. Everyone, from the doormen and maintenance team to Alex, responded quickly and was courteous. Several things didn’t work at first, including the toaster, tub, safe, and other appliances, but they replaced them promptly. The kitchen utensils were poor, with dull knives and pots but no frying pans.
