The breakfast was kosher, with suitable salads, three kinds of eggs, several types of olives, and the usual breakfast food too. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, paid or free.

The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful, including with local tips like where to buy good ready-cooked food for Shabbat. Breakfast, served Sunday through Friday, was fresh and tasty with a nice range of choices. The suite was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the kitchenette was great. They provided a hot plate and hot water urn for Shabbat. My wife and I spent three nights, Friday to Monday, at the Park House Hotel and had a fabulous time. If I’m back in the Brooklyn area, I’d love to return to this homely, lovely, well-run hotel.

The rooms felt a little drab when we first arrived, and the decor is dated. Still, they’re spacious, with a kitchen and living room. Breakfast was amazing, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s also quite close to a subway stop. Other than the dated look, it’s the perfect place to stay.

The staff were always available and ready to help, and the breakfast was a five-star spread. We all loved the pancakes with chocolate syrup, potatoes, juice, bagels, and a delicious cheese dish I can’t name. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a full kitchen with a fridge, freezer, sink, coffee pot, and a table and chairs. There are vending machines in the hotel, and a 24/7 store by the train stop selling made-to-order food, snacks, and drinks. My family and I spent a night at the Park House Hotel in Brooklyn and would gladly return. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, with families out enjoying life. The location was stellar, just a block from the D train. We took it to Coney Island so our 11-year-old could have his first trip to NY. Before arriving in Brooklyn, we’d taken my stepson to NYC for his first visit. He’s a big Nintendo fan, and at the Nintendo Store by Times Square, he picked out a plush toy chest from a game he plays. He was excited to bring it home, but after we got back to Philadelphia, we realized he’d left it in the hotel room. I emailed the hotel just in case they found it. Judy replied right away, and they found the toy and mailed it back to us. It was such a kind thing to do and meant a lot to our family. My stepson was relieved and said thank you for returning it. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

The rooms were clean and nice, and there was parking. They also had cake and coffee on Shabbos morning.
