Quality Inn

The bus stops right outside and takes you to the metro for the subway. It costs $2.75, and you can pay by credit card on the bus. Breakfast comes in a bag, but it’s pretty great: yogurt, muffins, fruit, a cookie, water, and plastic cutlery. The hotel was incredibly clean, the Wi-Fi was good, and I’d definitely stay again.

The employee refused to believe us when we reported a roach and said we had faked the photos. We’d been polite and only asked for a refund. He ran up to the room to address it, and we followed because we wanted to see what he did. As soon as he went in, another roach ran across the bed. He put on gloves, as if he knew the room was dirty, but stayed rude and belligerent even after seeing it. He wouldn’t explain how the refund would be handled or give us his name or a manager’s contact information. This "Quality" Inn felt dirty and roach-infested, with unprofessional staff. Avoid it if you don’t want a dirty stay. I stayed in room 220 in June 2022, and am posting this again because my first review was deleted. People should know about health hazards before booking. The room smelled of cigarettes, and the shower had hair from the previous occupant. We tried to ignore those signs, left for dinner, then came back and saw a small bug cross the pillow beside my head. We took a few photos; it was a baby cockroach. It’s common knowledge that one cockroach, especially one seen in daylight, can mean an infestation. We took our things to the desk and asked for a refund. The people on this thread praising the cleanliness are lying. This was the most disgusting stay I’ve had.

Music began blasting around 7 p.m. on the second night, shaking the floor and walls. My oldest son first went to the lobby, but said the staff ignored him. My husband then found out a conference room below us had been rented for a fiesta. Other guests were also complaining and asked the manager to move rooms, but that didn’t work. The manager’s only suggestion was that we find another hotel, even though we were scared to leave the rough neighborhood and couldn’t afford it. Another guest, whose mother had died, had to sleep in her car. The manager showed no concern, was disrespectful and dishonest, and told me the party would end at 1 a.m. We endured six hours of extremely loud music. Management was profiting from our misery. We’d booked two nights for my husband, children, and me because we needed to be near the airport for a 3:30 a.m. departure. The room smelled bad, but we decided to stay. This was a horrible experience, and nobody should have to go through it. I’d like to speak with someone at Expedia. Are there hotel rules about booking a party during those hours with only a floor between it and guest rooms?

The employees were friendly enough, but this was the worst hotel experience of my life. We arrived at 1 a.m. to fire trucks, ambulances, and police outside. As we waited to check in, they wheeled out someone who was overdosing and vomiting loudly, just two feet from us. We then waited another 20 minutes while the front desk girl put on gloves and quickly "cleaned" a room. The room smelled like cigarettes, the carpet was ripped, and a plastic bag was still over the smoke alarm, apparently so it wouldn’t go off when people smoked. Guests above us screamed and argued all night. There was also a large red stain on the wall that looked like blood. This place is disgusting. Don’t stay here.
