The interiors are beautifully designed, and the staff were wonderful throughout my stay. Isabelle at the front desk was especially kind and efficient. I’d made a mistake with my booking, and she went out of her way to help me rebook the room. I had a great experience and highly recommend this hotel.

Mike at the front desk was amazing and helped with anything I needed. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a while, and I’d give it six stars if I could. The room was spacious, the water piping hot, and the bed seriously comfortable. Great location, a very cool courtyard, and an amazing complimentary breakfast. Robes and slippers too. Highly recommend, and I’ll be back.

SoHo is easy to explore on foot from here. We got a great room even though we arrived before check-in, and Mike at the front desk was really helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay.

The location is right in the middle of SoHo, and the courtyard-facing rooms were quiet. I could also get the room completely dark once I unplugged the phone. Those were the few bright spots in a stay that left me incredibly disappointed, especially at about $700 a night. The place feels like a two-star motel: worn out and run down. Renovations were underway in some shared areas, so the inner courtyard looked nothing like the photos. Staff at the desk seemed uninterested, and I had to ask for help carrying luggage on the front stairs. The cleaning staff, though, seemed kind. My room felt tired and dirty. The carpet and bed skirts were stained, and the skirts were torn in places. The walls had dents with poor repairs, the bathroom shower tile was cracked, and there were cracks in the ceiling. A large gap showed around the closet ceiling light. The bathroom toiletries were mediocre, the sheets were skimpy, and the bed was uncomfortable. The curtains were coming off their rod because they hadn't been installed properly. The old heating and AC system was finicky, swinging between too hot and too cold. The phone kept cycling through screensaver photos and wouldn't turn its light off, so I had to unplug it to darken the room.
