The Tillary Hotel

The Tillary was good value for Brooklyn, and the complimentary drink was a nice extra. We had a relaxed, comfortable stay in a pleasant room beside the patio, where there was a swing, a fun detail you don't see in most hotels. Getting around was easy on foot, by bus, or by train, and the Brooklyn/DUMBO waterfront was a short walk away. Paramount Theater, Junior's Cheesecake, and Fulton Mall are all close, with plenty to do and eat nearby. I'd stay again.

Hi, we were there for 13 days and had a really nice stay. The staff were lovely, and the neighborhood felt safe. Brooklyn Bridge and the Dumbo area were about a seven-minute walk away. There are plenty of subway lines nearby, plus supermarkets and a mall within a reasonable walk. The hotel has a coffee store, bar, gym, and everything we needed. Highly recommended.

People in some of the earlier reviews are complaining a lot, but our stay was perfectly fine. We had four rooms for family visiting my son for Thanksgiving. Check-in was easy, the staff were pleasant, the rooms were clean, and there’s an attached coffee shop. The location was great too. Sure, some features could be better, but most things went well.

The room was clean and about as spacious as you can expect in a major city. We liked the terrific location, with delis, bodegas, and little boutique stores all around, and we'd come back. Thanks so much! The $30 “amenity” charge is a little odd for one pastry per room, but we managed. Service lost a star because my request for black tea never arrived. Tea drinkers should bring their own, since the rooms only have green tea.
