TownePlace Suites by Marriott New York Brooklyn

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and updated. They’re a good size for NYC, though a bit tighter than a typical TownPlace layout. There’s a good-sized TV with streaming login options. It’s a great spot, especially if you’re going to a show at Barclay’s Center, and the subway is a quick walk away.

We stayed in a fourth-floor room for our holidays and really liked the hotel. The studio had two beds, a kitchen, and a fridge, and it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice surprise: something different each morning, and better than I expected from an American breakfast. We also had a great view of downtown Brooklyn. The front desk agent was very friendly and took good care of us at check-in. The location was excellent, with bodegas within walking distance, a nearby train station, and Manhattan close by. It’s a bit pricey, but we’d definitely come back.

We arrived early in the morning after a red-eye from LAX to JFK, exhausted and overwhelmed, with a funeral to attend at noon. The hotel let us check in at 9am at no extra charge, so we could rest and get ready. That kindness meant more than I can say. The front desk team working on 12/6/25 were truly wonderful. I believe Brian was among them, and Joy, short for Adjoya, though I hope I’ve spelled that correctly. Their warmth, compassion, and professionalism showed Marriott Bonvoy’s top-level service at its best. As a loyal client, this experience reminded me why I keep choosing Marriott. The biggest hotel room I’ve ever seen in greater NYC, with a spacious bedroom, nice kitchenette, and large bathroom. Breakfast was an excellent hot meal, included with the stay. The staff were kind and helpful, and metro stations were convenient to reach. Right in the heart of Brooklyn, with great shops and restaurants nearby on our favorite street, 5th Ave.
