World Center Hotel

The lobby and lounge had a cozy, professional feel, and I stayed in a clean, modern room that was well maintained. The spacious desk and ergonomic chair were useful for getting work done, while the surrounding skyscrapers made it feel like I was right in the heart of NYC. The location is hard to beat, beside the World Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial, which worked well for sightseeing and business. It’s a mid-to-high priced hotel, but the convenience and location are what you pay for. A high-quality 4-star stay, especially if you care about being central and having a modern look.

The room was nice, and the view made it even better. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the amenities were unmatched. It was affordable and felt top tier. I can’t say enough good things, and I’m definitely coming back. It was so pleasant that I almost didn’t want to leave. You’re close to the 911 museum, trade center, oculus, and other cool places. A 10 out of 10 for me.

The room was clean and much larger than what you get at other hotels, which mattered to me since I can’t stand tiny rooms. The hotel let me pull up out front and take my bags upstairs, even without valet. There’s a parking garage around the corner for about 40-50 a night, which is standard in the city. I found one two blocks away and paid $70 from Friday at 3pm until Sunday at 2pm. The free coffee and water machine outside the room were excellent. One surprise was that the king bed was two mattresses pushed together, and I sank into the middle that evening. Was it a deal breaker? I don’t know. My fiance thought it was funny, and the positives outweighed it. The service was excellent. I called the day before and explained I was proposing to my girlfriend that weekend, and they put us on a top floor with a great view. It was our first time staying in the city, and the price was good. Midtown is 30 minutes away by subway, and we actually enjoyed the ride. All things to consider. I’d stay again, especially since Morton's is downstairs. I wrote a whole other review for Morton's. Phenomenal!!!!!!

The view from my room was my only letdown. The room was clean, though small, and check-in went smoothly. The front guest services staff were very kind. All in all, a good experience, and I’d recommend it.
