My toilet suddenly stopped working, and Omar and the housekeeping team handled it so professionally. Omar was kind, attentive, and reassuring when he arrived. They cleaned and sanitized the room thoroughly, and it was spotless and fresh afterward. Their attitude and care really stood out. They made sure I felt comfortable, not just that the issue was fixed. Thanks to Omar and everyone on housekeeping. I appreciate you!

The hotel is newer, nice, close to EWR, and reasonably priced. The trouble was the advertised “park and fly” package, which said parking was included. After my trip, the parking facility tried to charge me more than $75 and said it was separate from the hotel, even though they have the same owner. At the hotel, I was told parking was included but had to be paid for separately. They eventually comped it and took my information, but a few days later I got an email saying it was included but not complimentary. Then they charged my card again for the hotel and the parking they had comped. Now there are three charges: the normal hotel rate, another hotel-rate charge that shouldn’t be there, and parking that was supposed to be part of the package. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place.

The room wasn’t what I paid for. I booked a one-bedroom suite and got a studio instead. The TV was by the couch and sofa bed, above the desk, nowhere near my bed. There was no hair dryer, and I’d rather have toiletries available than fixed to the wall. On extremely cold days, heat should reach throughout the building. Breakfast also needs more choices, like bacon and soft scrambled eggs with cheese. It would be helpful to have a proper business center where guests can use computers and print, copy, scan, or fax. Apart from the bed and shower, the place needs upgrades and could feel more guest-friendly.

My family and I arrived after a major flight delay turned into a cancellation, and Douglas quickly found us a room. He seemed to be in a supervisory or management role. His calm approach made a stressful night much easier. During the storm, he appeared to work almost nonstop, close to 24 hours, looking after both guests and staff. That kind of dedication showed real leadership and accountability. The room was clean and well maintained, and the team was quick to help with problems. When our coffee maker stopped working, Omar came promptly to repair it, and Eddie brought a replacement as soon as one was needed. On the second day, as the storm got worse and more flights were canceled, Omar came in even though he wasn’t scheduled. He personally made burgers for hotel guests so stranded families would have something to eat. That was genuine care for people under stress, beyond his usual duties. Douglas, Omar, and Eddie showed a level of effort and professionalism that deserves recognition. This five-star review is for them.

The room was nice, but the airport shuttle was a mess. It took me 90 minutes to figure out where to go because the airport directions weren’t clear and reception hadn’t explained it well. A simple note on the hotel website saying to use the off-site parking shuttle would’ve been enough. The TV in my first room was on but broken, and there was nobody at the front desk in the morning.
