Towneplace Suites by Marriott Evansville Newburgh

The employees and management are the problem here. Staff brought their children to eat the breakfast meant for guests, left plates on the tables and were rude when they had to wait. Some employees smelled strongly of marijuana, leaving the odor in the elevators and in my room after it was cleaned. I reported it to the front end manager, but then saw her getting out of a vehicle with some of those employees. The vehicle and the people smelled strongly of marijuana. Do what you want in private, but don’t do it while working. People should be able to work without using a marijuana vape. I won’t stay here again.

We liked the big refrigerator, and both the bed and sofa were comfortable. Breakfast had a great range of choices. From what was available on our one day there, you could eat something different each day if you stayed several days.

The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. At breakfast, the buffet was well stocked and the attendant was cheerful even so early in the morning. Check-in was just as good: the desk clerk was friendly, very helpful and gave us a great dinner recommendation. I hope I get to stay at TownePlace Suites Evansville Newburgh again.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and haven’t had any problems or bad experiences. The rooms are clean, and the staff seem friendly and engaging. The only thing I have an issue with is the location.
