We were absolutely thrilled with our stay and would book this place again if we’re back in town. Our three-bedroom suite was spotless and incredible, with amazing mattresses and pillows. Even the pullout couch was super comfy. The decor feels modern but right for the area, and the little extras like coffee, tea, and snacks were a lovely touch. The location made it easy to walk everywhere. Our host responded quickly, and the instructions were simple to follow.
There’s no staff on site, but the instructions for check-in, checkout, parking, and everything else were very clear. Our room also had a helpful information binder. We found parking without any trouble and could easily walk from Cutwater to downtown. One tip: ask for a second-floor room if you can. We heard heavy footsteps and the front door opening and closing throughout our stay. We were in town for a wedding and Cutwater worked perfectly for us. We’d definitely return.
A big-screen TV with all the streaming services was nice for us oldsters who stay in at night :). The room had just enough sea-coast charm, and the bathroom was lovely, with a huge tub and excellent water pressure. Check-in was easy and the location was great. Just keep in mind there’s no parking at the property, so you’ll need to find a spot in Newburyport and walk a couple of blocks.
The room was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. Check-in went smoothly, and communication was quick and helpful. We’d happily come back.
The Crow's Nest Suite was really nice and clean. Parking wasn’t much of a problem, apart from loading at first. If you pack light, it should be fine. One issue: the A/C vents blow straight toward the beds and can’t be redirected, so the air hit our faces all night. Adjustable vents would help. My spouse also wished there were another mirror besides the one over the bathroom sink. One on the back of a door would’ve been useful.
