The Oaks Waterfront

Breakfast in the dining room was a lovely way to start the day, with great food and staff and a view over the water. We had a perfect weekend at The Oaks and while visiting St. Michael’s. The property is beautiful, well cared for, and relaxing. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Linda checked in to make sure we had what we needed, and Sujoy made delicious drinks and kept things fun at the bar. We can’t wait to come back.

Linda was there whenever we had a request, and she and the rest of the staff made our visit memorable. I stayed a couple of nights in one of The Oaks cottages, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The grounds are gorgeous, and both the restaurant and bar are fantastic.

The food was the best we’ve ever had at a wedding, and the plated dinner reached every guest quickly. People even said the service looked like a choreographed dance. We had our wedding at the Oaks in October, which was an amazing time of year, and there’s nothing we would change. From booking the tour through saying goodbye the next morning, the staff were unbelievable. Joe in particular will make things happen if you need something, though the whole team had that same attitude. Each morning, staff were outside clearing sticks and leaves so the grounds looked spotless. The newly updated facilities are so well designed that we took photos for ideas for our future home. When we think about renovations, we ask what the Oaks would do. I can’t think of a better wedding spot in St. Michael’s, even with the famous hotel down the road.

Our family and guests couldn’t stop talking about the experience at our daughter’s wedding at the Oaks two weeks ago. The grounds were stunning, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The rooms were impeccable and the food was fantastic. All my expectations were exceeded, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you for making the wedding weekend unforgettable!
