The room was spacious and updated, the bed was super comfortable, and everything worked. The front desk gentleman was polite and helpful, and the office looked nice too. Outside could use an update, and the parking lot feels a little cramped, but the inside was great for the price. I'll stay here again.

It's an older place, but clean, well stocked, and reasonably priced. The location worked well for going downtown. Last weekend in Orlando I paid more than three times as much for a worse stay.

We chose this place while driving from WA to SC because the reviews made it sound like good value. Our room was filthy: old rice was scattered on the floor, and big fur clumps were tucked behind furniture and in corners. We travel with a hand vacuum for cat litter spills, and ended up filling it while cleaning the room. The bed skirt was stained, and there were someone else's dirty socks in the bedside table. I woke up with an eye infection the next day. I can't say for certain the room caused it, but the data suggests that may be likely. The man at the desk was very nice, but we were still extremely disappointed. I wish I'd paid the extra $40 for somewhere better. There are some upsides: staff were friendly, we parked about three steps from our room, and a few good restaurants were within walking distance. There's also a partly fenced pet area, though it has no grass, if that matters to you. Still, the dirt made this one of the more expensive but worst places we stayed. My experience may be unusual based on the other reviews, but I'd advise people to avoid it. Staying here feels like a risk.

Hair was all over the place, on the toilet seat, floor, bed, and bathroom sink. The tables hadn't even been wiped down after the previous guests. And then they kept my shoes. I called after leaving and asked them to hold the shoes so I could come back for them, but they claimed they hadn't found any. I knew exactly where I'd left them, and all I got was a curt "nope." This place is horrible. Avoid it!
