Comfort Suites Airport

The housekeepers were great, and the breakfast bar and pool were nice. We came to visit family, so it was a good stay in that sense, and the location was fine for the trip. But the beds in our suite were the hardest I've ever slept on. Some better padding would make a real difference. I’m not sure we’d return because sleeping comfortably just wasn't happening.

Sharon was wonderful in the morning, serving breakfast and keeping the area in shape, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. The kids loved the pool and making their own waffles. Our room was clean, and breakfast each day was a nice bonus. The shower pressure could have been stronger, but it was good enough. I'm really glad we booked here and would stay again next time we're in town.

For a one-night stay, it was okay. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was neither especially comfortable nor uncomfortable. Staff were polite, though not especially welcoming. I liked being set back from the main road, with restaurants and shopping nearby. Still, the room looked worn and needed better care: one bed had a wrinkled cover, the tub was stained, and paint had been applied over the lines. Yellow caution signs stayed up much of my visit, though I never saw a wet floor. I didn't like having my license copied at check-in, and breakfast ending at 9:30 was too early for me.

The hot water was the big problem. When it worked, it barely seemed to reach 100 degrees, and on the morning we checked out there was none at all. With the outdoor high at 30, a cold shower was ridiculous. I don't know whether something needs fixing or the temperature was lowered to save money, but guests should know before booking. The hotel itself was clean and nice for the price. The rooms seemed updated, the beds were decent, and breakfast was the usual simple selection for a budget hotel, nothing fancy but clean and kept up.
