Bluegreen Parkside Williamsburg, Ascend Resort Col

The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean. The couch was hard, rough, and really uncomfortable, and the chair wasn't much better. The outdoor furniture was all metal. Everything except the beds was hard on my bad back.

The location was awesome for colonial trips, and the area was fairly quiet. The staff were great, and the room worked well for our whole family. They promptly checked on the things we were concerned about and followed up to see if we needed anything.

The balcony was a nice touch, and we could see the roller coasters at Bush Gardens across the street. The condos have plenty of room throughout, and the resort is really beautiful.

The place looks decent, and the units look nice, but my stay was awful. I checked in on 2/13/26 after being told I’d be in a newer unit or building. On Saturday, roaches showed up that I hadn’t brought with me. I told the front desk, but nothing was done, and they kept appearing through the day. It was a huge inconvenience. They offered me $126 for the trauma, nowhere near what I paid to end up basically staying in my car.
