Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina

We made some great memories and totally plan to stay again. The staff were very kind, and they told us that if accessibility is an issue, we can call after booking online to request a room without stairs. Room 252 was at the end of the building, up a very steep set of wet stairs, with great bay views and a palm and pineapple theme throughout. It had a jetted tub, though I wish there'd been a grab bar, plus a fully stocked kitchen and a very comfortable living area. There was no fireplace or wood stove. The rooms are all different, so you never quite know what to expect.

The crabbing dock is always a fun part of our trip, and we’re already planning to come back next year for my wife’s birthday, this time for a longer stay. I’ve been coming here for over ten years and somehow enjoy it more each time. Jesse is a big reason for that. He’s wonderful at check-in, makes you feel at home, and goes out of his way to make the stay great. Service like his is worth paying extra for. Thanks again, Jesse, for making it memorable.

The bay view from our room was lovely, and the room was comfortable. I’d stay again, but I’d ask for an upstairs room next time. The walls are thin, and hearing people walk around overhead made it hard to sleep.

The old-fashioned feel had some charm, and the unit was fairly clean inside with all the utensils we needed. We were also given an extra 20 minutes at checkout to pack up and do basic cleaning. Still, our stay in Vacasa’s C208 was a bad experience. The photos didn’t look like this condo: we could barely see any water, just a few boats in the harbour, and there was no Murphy bed. It seemed like pictures from several units had been grouped under C208, which was misleading. The listing mentioned a hot tub and heated pool, but nobody told us the spa facilities were out of service for repairs. We chose this place using “Hot tub” as one of our booking filters, so we wouldn’t have reserved it if we’d known. Getting a simple question answered was another hassle. It went to the corporate team, then the local team, then was deferred to a property manager.
