Hampton Inn Newport

The breakfast host deserves recognition. The area was clean, and the food was hot and delicious. I'd read people say he wasn't friendly, but I disagree. If you speak to him, he talks back with a smile. Some people mistake quietness for unfriendliness. I stopped to thank him personally for being such a great host. We enjoyed our stay: the rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly. I'll stay here again and recommend it to others.

A great stop on my drive to Florida to see family. The hotel is easy to reach from the highway and main road, but far enough away that traffic isn't noisy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the parking lot was well lit, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were exceptionally kind. I'll definitely stay again.

Trev was a pleasure to see each morning, friendly, helpful, professional, personable, and kind. Breakfast was hot and tasty every day, and I loved making my own waffle. The pool and pool area were clean and relaxing, and Ricardo always greeted us with a smile. We enjoyed our five-night family stay at the Hampton Inn Newport. The rooms were clean and well stocked, the beds were comfy, and we all slept well. We asked for rooms closer to the elevators, but understood that couldn't be guaranteed. The rooms were otherwise great, though they didn't have microwaves. The AC worked so well my sister nearly froze me. Spencer could have been more helpful when we asked for extra laundry bags. He handed us thin, small trash bags that ripped before we got to the car, and we had a week's worth of dirty clothes for five people. Luckily we had spare Walmart sacks in the car and made do. All in all, we had a great time and will come back. Thank you!

I woke up to some kind of bug on the bed, which freaked me out. The room was smaller than I expected, and there was mold in the bathroom.
