Hampton Inn & Suites Newport/Cincinnati

The city views are awesome, and it's an easy walk to Newport on the Levee. The aquarium is just across the street, which makes this a great place to stay for a visit there. Roads nearby make getting to the hotel a little challenging, though. The property is modern and updated, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Check-in was quick, but we didn't receive the free amenities then. I mentioned it to staff the next day, and they apologized and fixed it right away. They were attentive to our needs. I didn't notice a parking charge, but they give you a permit, so have your license plate handy at check-in. Overall, a really nice hotel.

The employees are what made this an awesome place to stay. Heather at the front desk, Will on night security, and everyone else we met were great. We had kids from 1 to 11, and they made us feel like having wild kids around was completely normal. The rooms were great too. Thanks for everything, we're planning to come back!

The front desk staff welcomed us and made us laugh, a nice change from the rigid, personality-free robot you get at so many places. Our king room had a view of Cincinnati and was shockingly spacious, with a layout that made great use of the views. The whole facility was clean and looked recently renovated.

Customer service was the main reason I'd choose this place over anywhere else in the area. Heather untangled our complicated reservation and had everything sorted out. We also used the Tesla charger every day, which was especially helpful in the cold. The location is perfect for whatever you want to do, and you can walk all over. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the TV was easy to use with Amazon Prime and the other things we wanted. Breakfast wasn't gourmet, but it was free and worked with my strict gluten-free and dairy-free diet: I could eat fresh fruit, oatmeal, and eggs. They also had cereal, pastries, and make-your-own waffles. All the front desk staff were amazing. Thank you, Heather!
