I’ve been here for a month while working and am enjoying the stay. I have my room cleaned every other day, and they do a fine job, though the housekeepers can be a little irritating because they don’t change the sheets. You have to do that yourself. Jody and Allen at the front desk are the best, friendly and very helpful. I’m planning to keep staying as long as they’ll let me. They’re also supposed to be upgrading breakfast soon, with biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, and more.

I paid $59.95 plus tax, which didn’t seem unreasonable for the area. There’s no pool, guest laundry, or breakfast, but the three story motel does have an elevator. Room 312 was an “upgrade,” with a microwave, fridge, desk, and lamp. The old big box TV worked fine, and the bathroom was well equipped, though the cheap shampoo packet looked as cheap as it was. The in-room coffee was just one cup, with two packets. The desk staff seemed short on people skills both when I booked and when I checked in, and weren’t friendly or customer oriented. Three out of five.

My husband’s medication and personal checks were stolen from our room. When the police came to the building, the manager left. Since then, the manager hasn’t returned calls, and my husband couldn’t sleep there after what happened. They’ve done nothing to try to resolve it. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

The maids and people at the front desk were helpful and nice, and the staff are what’s holding this place together. The manager, though, was the rudest person I’ve ever met and wouldn’t help or work with you on anything. Management was also really rude to the staff.

We stopped here while heading back from a motorcycle ride on the Blue RIdge Parkway. The hotel had what we needed: nice rooms, an indoor pool, and Waffle House and a gas station within walking distance, all for around fifty bucks. Nothing fancy, just right for us. If we’re back in the area, we’ll stay again.
