The views are beautiful, and this is an amazing place to call home.

The area in front of it is sliding into the ocean. I hope the place doesn’t slide or fall off the cliff.
The view is fantastic, and the fireplace and kitchen appliances were good. But the seating was impossibly uncomfortable, and the bathroom heater was so noisy it woke me up. The street noise was also a problem, and there was very little privacy: low windows with no curtains let beachcombers and neighbors see right into the bedroom. One queen and one twin bed aren’t enough for four adults. The place was poorly maintained, and management wasn’t reasonable. They refused to provide towels, washcloths, or a curtain, and wouldn’t repair the broken storm door or ice maker. Definitely not worth it. 😞
The damage from rain and tides is plainly visible on the sandy cliffs now. There doesn’t seem to be much to do beyond trying to shore up and stabilize the cliff faces. It looks like there could be a Pacifica CA-style collapse before too long.
It was a nice beach even in January, and it felt very private with hardly anyone around. There was a small fire pit, and getting down to where we were wasn’t all that difficult.
