Sanctuary Suite at The Royce, Newport

The two living rooms made The Royce feel both spacious and cozy, and the courtyard was dreamy. The kitchen had everything we could need. It’s close to everything in Newport but still felt private. We were there for an event weekend, and the house gave me room to get ready, catch my breath, spend time with others, and feel at home. Every design detail felt considered, mixing historic Newport character with modern luxury. The team was gracious and accommodating and really cared that the weekend went smoothly. Can’t wait to come back.

Cameron was a pleasure to work with from booking through checkout, always attentive and quick to respond. Sixteen of us stayed at The Royce on Pelham and The Royce on Spring for our birthdays, and both houses gave us plenty of room to gather and relax, indoors and out. The bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable, and everything we needed was there. The decor was beautiful, too. Shops, restaurants, and historic places are within walking distance, while the Newport Mansions and Cliff Walk are a short drive away. It would work well for a girls’ trip, couples, families, work events, or other special occasions.

We felt well looked after by the welcoming staff, who went out of their way to make our stay a good one. The Royce Newport has a warm, inviting feel, with its charm apparent as soon as you walk in. Downtown Newport is an easy walk, which made the stay worth every penny for my wife and me. We’ll be back.

We loved how easy it was to explore Newport on foot from The Royce, right in the historic center. Inside, the design was gorgeous and tasteful, with luxurious appliances and details that made the place feel elegant but still comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely return.
