The Attwater

We could walk to so many shops and restaurants from this amazing location. Our suite was roomy and comfortable, and breakfast had delicious egg dishes, overnight oats, yogurt, fruit, and more. The owner was pleasant and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

The concierge was incredibly friendly and clearly cared about making the stay enjoyable. I was upgraded to a more comfortable room, and parking was plentiful once I learned I could use the museum lot across the street with a pass from the front desk. The art museum is right next door, with restaurants and things to do close by on foot. I really enjoyed my stay.

The location near lots of shops and cafes was great, and the staff at the Attwater were so helpful. We’d paid for a Valentine's Day offer and were upgraded to a larger suite, which was very comfortable. Parking is a little limited. Newport also doesn’t seem to clear snow from the streets or sidewalks much, which made getting around less enjoyable for me as a disabled person. That part had nothing to do with the staff or the inn.

The host was kind and helpful, and gave us a few recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a suite with a comfy king bed and living room. The evening cookies and morning pastries were a treat, too. From the hotel it’s an easy walk, or a quick uber, to the waterfront bars and restaurants. A beautiful place to stay.
