Quality Inn Edgerton

The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I came down hungry in the morning and found nothing for breakfast except the waffle machine. When I brought up the lack of food, the manager said, “we’re not required to serve breakfast.” Later, they brought me the Q Breakfast Operational Requirements guide, which felt like they were trying to make a point. Well, I’m not required to leave a good review either. Guests should know what to expect, since that’s what reviews are for. Breakfast matters to a lot of hotel guests, whatever the occupancy. Edit: breakfast was available the next morning.

We come to this hotel for a mini convention twice a year, and they treat our group respectfully. The staff are especially great. Rooms are big, clean, and well stocked. There’s plenty of parking, and the hotel is right off the expressway, next to a gas station and Mc Donald's. The breakfast area is large, with waffles, cereal, bacon or sausage, yogurt, coffee, and juice. There’s also a decent-sized pool and hot tub. ❤️

Cameron at the front desk was a delight when I checked in just before midnight. They’d put me on the 2nd floor, but I had a lot of things with me, so Cameron moved me to the 1st floor. There’s no elevator, only stairs. Breakfast was okay, though there wasn’t much variety. I wasn’t there for the breakfast anyway, lol.

My daughter and I were visiting a family member and stayed here. She’s disabled, and I figured staying wouldn’t be an issue. I’d read on the website that the building has stairs only, which is fine for us since we’re used to staying on the first floor. At check-in, the receptionist asked why I’d parked in the handicap spot. I was confused because he could see my daughter’s disability and my handicap sticker. I asked if there was a problem and explained her situation. It felt really disrespectful to be questioned about why I parked there. Then he said, “oh I have to believe you unless you’re lying.” I felt that was racist and discriminatory. Why question someone about their disability?
