We’ve had good stays at Hamptons before, so this location was a letdown. There was hair all over the room, including the sink, towels, and bed. I’m not expecting an operating room level of clean, but it would take a housekeeper just 30 seconds with a lint roller to get the hair off the bed. We also found unopened condoms under the mattress, which made it clear the rooms aren’t being checked very thoroughly. The elevator carpet edges looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months, and the breakfast selection was average for a hotel. The parking lot is small, but we were lucky to find an on-site space and avoid paying to park elsewhere. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet overall. It was passable, but I expected more for the price and the chain. I’ve stayed at much cleaner and nicer Hamptons.

The rooms were clean, the clerk was attentive, and breakfast was a great continental spread. The problem was the ice and snow removal. A large corporation should have a top-notch grounds crew or hire someone to clear the parking lot and walkways properly. It was dangerous walking through the lot.

The location makes it easy to walk to the attractions, and the rooms were a decent size and okay clean. The front desk staff weren’t especially welcoming. Breakfast is included, with a decent buffet of waffles, cereal, bagels, bread, eggs, omelets, and oats. The bathrooms have tubs for showers. The pool and gym are both very small: more than five people in the gym would feel cramped, and around 15 to 20 in the pool area would make it crowded. At busy times, it could be hard to get a turn.

Quiet place with free parking and WiFi, and the staff were very nice. The showers were HOT. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn kind, though I wished they had granola for the oatmeal and yogurt. It’s close to Anchor Bar.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the bedding was soft, and check-in went smoothly. It’s in a quiet area and convenient for the falls. Breakfast was plentiful: waffles, boiled eggs, oatmeal, coffee, juice, breads and bagels, yogurt, and apples. I absolutely loved the stay and would come back.
