Studio 6 Suites Norcross, GA

It used to be one of the better extended stay places. I don't know how things were managed before, but the clients seemed much cleaner and there weren't so many people lingering around. Now, on the way to your car, you pass more people hanging around outside than you would in an elementary school car pool line. The place has gone downhill.

I've been here a while, and it's peaceful. Nobody bothers you, and you don't have to worry about people getting into your business. The front desk ladies and management are so sweet and give great customer service, which isn't easy. I have a really big dog, a massive pitbull who barks at everything, and I have no problem walking him because people aren't just loitering around. The rooms are clean, and you can take your items to the front desk to exchange them whenever you like. There's Wi-Fi, and the TV is fire stick. I haven't seen any discrimination here. It's a multicultural hotel, and I'm from the Caribbean. Valentine's Day was super packed, but there were no problems.

After a long drive, I checked in at 9:22pm on 1/10 just wanting to rest. My son went to the desk, where the man was extremely rude and nasty. He claimed there was no reservation, even though I knew I'd booked one. When I found it on my phone and showed him, he checked us in with the same mean attitude. He put us on the first floor. I asked for the third, and he said no, that I could leave or take it. I've never been treated so rudely. The room was low quality, and there were roaches and bed bugs. I'm glad I'd only booked one night.

The floor was sticky, there were cockroaches, and I don't think the sheets were clean because they still had hair on them. Housekeeping was taking pictures of occupied rooms, which I'm pretty sure is an illegal invasion of privacy. They don't have do not disturb signs either.
