We were traveling with our dog, and that's why I booked this room. At 9:30 at night, the website's claim that pets were welcome turned out to be false. I called about a booking issue and they hung up on me. The employees were rude and could barely speak English. This hotel was very unprofessional, and I would never recommend it.

The room key stops working at midnight before your checkout date, and there's no one available to deal with it until they show up, always 30 minutes after the posted opening time. Traveling workers, avoid this place at all costs.

The price is the best thing about this place, so you might manage if you're not particular. The breakfast was okay but had very few choices. It wasn't filthy, though it wasn't especially clean either, and the bathroom fixtures were cracked and discolored. The whole place looks dated and needs remodeling. If I'm in Norfolk again, I'll probably stay somewhere else.

The parking lot had trash all over it, and the pool they advertise is buried in sand. Inside, it was filthy, with dust on the walls and an intake vent clogged with dust. When I asked for cleaning supplies, they didn't even have any to give me. The man running this motel shouldn't be allowed to run it. This isn't a healthy option, and it's an insult to customers.

The bed was broken, the curtains had holes, and the phone wasn't hooked up. The alarm clock didn't work either. The room was filthy, with a dirty mirror, splatters on the wall, dirt on the floor, dust, and cobwebs. They refused to refund us because we weren't back at the office within 15 minutes.
