TownePlace Suites Norfolk

I came to Norfolk for work and was lucky to stay here just after the property opened. My six-week stay was excellent. Jeff, one of the owners, arranged a corner suite with a kitchen and oven. The fitness center had plenty of equipment, there was a heated pool and guest laundry, and breakfast offered a good range of hot and cold items. The hotel was very clean, and housekeeping did a great job. A happy-hour drink bar with beer and wine taps had recently been added, with charges to the room, though I didn’t get to try it. Ruth, the GM, and the front desk staff were friendly and attentive from arrival until I had to leave abruptly because of an emergency back home. They remembered why I was in town and asked about my project. I mentioned to Jeff some room details I appreciate as a frequent extended-stay business traveler, and by that evening some suggestions were already in my room. That’s listening to a customer. Great stay, I’d definitely return. 11/10!

I felt safe traveling alone, and I’ll definitely book here again when I’m back in town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the whole hotel felt very clean and new.

I arrived around 3 in the morning, and the staff were still bright-eyed and ready to help. They treated me so warmly it felt like I had cousins who owned the hotel. The place was amazing, clean, and had a pristine pool. Wish Google let me give more than five stars.

The manager is awesome, and the service is nice. It’s a new, sparkling clean hotel, with a friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. They make you feel at home.
