NOUN Hotel, Norman, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We found this hotel while looking for somewhere nice and conveniently located to visit our niece for her birthday. We arrived on 3/1 at 4:25 pm after a long drive, with my wife and baby girl in the truck. The front desk gentleman was outstanding, friendly, and very helpful, and check-in went smoothly. Later, when something came up, he and another gentleman helped accommodate my request. The hotel was clean and spacious when we looked around, and it seemed like a fun place for a future trip too. I'm very impressed with the staff and the hotel, and would recommend it. We'll be back.

Krystle and Jessica made us feel well cared for from our first planning meeting, and the staff's attention to detail continued right through the wedding. The events team anticipated what we needed, handled surprises quickly and gracefully, and kept everything running so smoothly that we could enjoy the day. The Noun felt both elegant and welcoming, and the staff made our guests feel valued as well as making us feel welcome. The food was exceptional in how it looked and tasted, and we heard so many compliments from guests. The Chef also checked in with us personally, a thoughtful touch that showed the care behind the hospitality. Our wedding at The Noun surpassed every expectation. The whole team was warm, professional, and dedicated throughout the planning and the event itself. We'd wholeheartedly recommend the venue, especially for weddings. The NOUN Hotel is an easy walk from campus and close to downtown Norman's restaurants and nightlife. Parking costs $10 a night, which felt like a bargain for a Marriott property, though there's no valet. The room rate is on the high side, but fair for the comfort, style, and service. Our room was quiet and exceptionally clean. When I mentioned I was worried about being near the second-floor sports bar, the staff promptly moved us to the top floor. The in-room coffee machine also failed, and instead of just apologizing, they brought up two complimentary coffees. Every front desk interaction was warm, professional, and accommodating. The decor has a sleek, modern look that still feels comfortable and fits the boutique style. From check-in to checkout, everything was smooth and thoughtfully handled. It delivers the stylish, spotless, well-run stay I expect from a Tribute Portfolio hotel. Great for couples, alumni, or visitors to the University of Oklahoma area who want comfort and quality. We'll stay again.

I spent two nights here for an OU event. The rooms were very clean, with no carpet, the gym was solid, and they had water bottles set out on every machine. The second-floor bar was nice, and the staff I met around the rooms were friendly. The front desk team was especially helpful, though I wish I'd caught their names. Breakfast doesn't start until 7 a.m., which feels late on a weekday, and they were short staffed. Around 7:45, I counted 18 guests with one main waitress, one support person, and the cooks. They were working hard to take orders, bring food out, and keep coffee filled, but breakfast took a while. I had enough time, and the woman who helped me apologized so much I felt bad for her. There aren't many breakfast options nearby, but yellow dog coffee co, about a mile away, was worth the drive. Great place overall, and I hope I can stay again when I'm in the area.
