Plantation Oaks

We attended a baby shower in the banquet hall. It was a nice venue, with plenty of space and parking.

The last stay was a nightmare, and we won't be back. There were roaches on the walls, ceiling, and even the bed. With our big dog and the late hour, we couldn't get another room, so the five of us left everything in the SUV and took turns sleeping. We stuffed tissue in our ears, kept the lights on, and took turns watching for bugs. We barely slept, and now we have an eight-hour drive after driving nine hours yesterday. We didn't even want the breakfast this time because of the infestation. I'd stayed here twice before. The first time we rented a suite set up like an apartment, which was neat. Another time we had a double queen room. Breakfast isn't great, but a few items at least help tide you over until lunch. The rooms haven't been clean, though the place has potential.

Breakfast was fantastic, and otherwise I had a very pleasant stay. If I had to find a downside, I wish the room door could be accessed from outside, and the TV were bigger and better quality.

The room was spotless, with no dust or dirt in the corners or around the toilet and tub. It's the cleanest room I've stayed in. The rooms are older, but not trashy. The downside is you can hear every step from whoever's upstairs.
