Studio 6 Memphis, TN – East Memphis

Mr. Neil checked me in on January 1, 2026, even though I was late, and he was great about it. He gave me a good price, too. I checked out January 13. The location is nice and quiet, right next to Family Dollar, and the property and my room were clean. My queen bed felt like sleeping on clouds, and the kitchenette was well kept. It had a coffee pot and coffee, a stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, and lots of cabinets. Bring your own pots if you want to cook. There are also washing machines and dryers on site, three dollars each, plus vending machines for snacks. It used to be Extended Stay, but it’s now under new management and called Studio (6). The cleaning staff are wonderful. If you stay more than a week, you won’t get the room cleaned unless you ask, which suited me because I didn’t want people coming in and out. I cleaned it myself, but they would have done it if I’d asked. There’s heating and air, cable TV, a music clock radio, plenty of lights, a desk, a large tub for a bath or shower, and ice trays in the freezer. There’s lots of parking when it isn’t too busy, though on weekends a spot can be hard to find. Studio (6) is a good place to stay in Memphis, with a clean, quiet, well-lit area and pleasant staff to talk with. A nice place to lay your head.
