It was our 31st anniversary weekend, and management helped make the stay happen when I had some personal issues at check-in. The staff were amazing, our room was pretty and smelled great, and dinner at the restaurant was really good. Breakfast was great each morning too. We'll have to try another suite next time. Thank you for making our anniversary special.

I first came here because plumbing problems at home made me want to treat myself to a BNB. I've now stayed twice, in two different suites, and loved both. Each room has its own fun theme, and I want to try every one of them. The jacuzzis, bath salts, bubble bath, and lovely robes made for a great night away. Breakfast was good too, and Traci is a wonderful host. From now on, I'll make a point of staying here whenever I want a night away. Highly recommend!

We left almost immediately and didn't stay, but Traci has still not returned our $300. She said I needed to cancel through the hotel, though I tried to cancel before we had even arrived. Her communication has been poor and she hasn't helped. She keeps saying she'll call an exterminator to investigate. Since we were already gone, that wasn't my concern. The owner has been unpleasant, and I intend to take action. We'd booked an online family getaway for Sunday, and Traci texted directly about the reservation and check-in. Once inside, the bed didn't match the picture, the room was much smaller than shown, and it was very cold and awkward, with the thermostat outside the room. The keypads were frustrating and needed several presses to respond. Things were dusty and uncomfortable. Then my wife opened a dresser to put away a bag and found mouse droppings. Moments later, a cockroach crawled out from under the couch, and I don't know where it went. Please don't stay here.

The grounds are beautiful, with quiet country trees, birds, and a pond full of yellow and pink water lilies, plus a fountain and places to sit. At night it was so peaceful we could barely hear the highway. From the driveway, the property feels inviting. I also liked that they don't cover it in intimidating no-smoking signs. We came late after a concert and missed the emailed check-in instructions. We had to call three times because of our own mix-ups, including forgetting the room code right after it was given to us. The staff were patient and sweet every time. They moved us smoothly to a lovely lavender room in the main house with a huge jacuzzi for two. I'd read comments that the tub took ages to fill, but it's a big tub, so of course it takes a minute. It didn't take that long, and the water stayed piping hot. Robes and plenty of towels were provided. I'm a professional custodian and know what clean looks like. This is a charming historic property rather than a brand-new corporate hotel, but it's spotless and very well maintained. The service is contactless, with codes sent by text and plenty of privacy. Breakfast comes to your door, with your order left on a clip outside the room. The staff member who brought it was really sweet and explained how the hallway thermostat controls the room. I'm a fried potato connoisseur, and a couple of pieces, two, were a bit hard. If that's my only food complaint, they're doing everything right. Dinner at the restaurant the night before was gorgeous and delicious, and the quiet, quaint dining room was classy. Highly recommend. I found Whispering Pines while looking for a place near OKC with a private in-room Jacuzzi, and was blown away. My friend travels the country for work and stays in endless hotels and B&Bs, and agrees completely: this place is exceptional. It felt more like a luxury resort in Cabo or Lake Tahoe than somewhere in Oklahoma. The whole stay was comfortable and beautiful.

The Lavender Room was cozy and clean, and its jacuzzi was lovely and hot at 5 a.m. before my appointment. The place is beautiful inside and out, and the price was great. The woman who helped me over the phone was friendly and helpful. I had to leave before 8 a.m., so I missed the included breakfast. I wish there were an earlier option, since the choices sounded delicious. This was my first stay at a Bed and Breakfast, and I'll come back to Whispering Pines if I'm in the area again.
